Insecta Iridesse

The project disrupted the way colours and printing methods are traditionally presented by the print industry by showcasing the metallic print effects in the form of 3D iridescent gem-like jewellery pieces that look like rare insect species, and made almost entirely of paper printed with the new ink. The colour swatch was then completely reimagined into a fictional explorer's journal documenting the findings of these gem-like insects, showcasing the different print effects like never before.

Jiugui Cave Storage

They chose to keep the original shape of the bottle, whose neck is rounded with rope, yet material is changed from porcelain to glass. Drawn in ancient Chinese way, a mountain is carved on the bottom to elaborate visually the concept of cave storage. Chinese Miao Minority has been storing alcohol in that way for a long time. With two emphases highlighted, the bottle is left clean and transparent, with the number 6 embedded.

Toji

The Toji box was developed for the candles. In order to connect the outside of the box with the illustration inside better, arc cutting was made on the front to increase the visible area inside. The visible part is equivalent to the preview part, presenting the story to the viewer in a more hierarchical way. The frosting process was used to make the box, to make it more quality. According to different stories, the main colors are low saturation blue, pink, yellow and orange-brown, which achieve a higher effect in hand feeling and vision.

Drunk Bartender

Boring and trivial designs for a classic series of alcoholic beverages that do not attract the consumers' attention was the inspiration to find new modern images for creating the design for classic and conservative alcoholic beverages. The creation of a series of designs for classic alcoholic cocktails in a modern style using graphic elements to make them stand out on the shelf and draw the attention and to show that the classics can also be modern by means of comical graphic illustrations. "Drunk bartender" is a brand for people who appreciate the classic in her modern way.

Shengming Shijia

With tea-related local scenery represented, the tea packaging communicates the product information to users. It highlights the landmark building and reproduces the sight Three Pools Mirroring the Moon. The design of the inner box originates from the moon evoking the atmosphere of serenity and permanency and the memory of tea-tasting.

Mix

To celebrate the Year of Tiger, Nongfu Spring launches a limited gift box for Mix Milk Tea. The idea is inspired by a Chinese nursery rhyme "Beat the Tiger". The packaging is designed as tiger head, while its eyes are replaced by whirls that are the visual asset of the brand. When consumers are holding the box, their fists are right above the tiger, so it looks like the consumers are beating the tiger. Eventually, it can create the interaction between consumers and packaging.
