Satine Pro

Satine Pro is a packaging design for an ultrafiltration milk sold in China. The milk has a protein content of 6 grams per 100 millilitres. The design places the number 6 at the visual centre of the pack, formed by deconstructing and recombining natural elements such as cows and plants. A complete cow is hidden within the picture. The approach draws on Cubism and abstract art, where reality is taken apart and rebuilt. The packaging measures 50 by 50 by 180 millimetres. The aim is to define a new milk subcategory and to express a natural and refined character.

Hailuo

Hailuo is a packaging design created for an in-ear headphone. Instead of showing a product photograph, the packaging presents an image of a sliced nautilus shell with the headphone placed inside the spiral cavity. The spiral form of the shell is linked to the resonance of sound. The whole image is embossed on the surface to give the nautilus a real feeling. Silver paper with black ink gives the package a low sparkle that suggests advanced technology. The draw-out box holds two layers, so the headphone and its wires are seen first and the accessories rest below.

Codice

Codice is a packaging design for a wine bottle, inspired by medieval codices. Codices were handwritten books made before the invention of the printing press, in which the capital letters became works of art. The label is produced on paper with reliefs and stamping and is applied to a Bordeaux bottle. A sheet of sealed vegetal paper wraps the bottle and carries illustrations of the symbols of the winery. The paper is closed with sealing wax at the top, so the content is revealed only when the wrapper is opened.

2019 NPCCD Deck

The 2019 National Card Collection Day Deck is an interactive package for playing cards. The design is inspired by the palaces of Morocco, with intaglio engravings that mimic carved stonework and geometric patterns. A challenge printed on the side invites the user to unlock the gate. Raising the archway through a keyhole track reveals the first stage. A custom two-way mirror of 30 percent opacity hides a room that appears when light is shone inside. A final reveal shows a repeating lit corridor. The cards are coated with a raised glossy tiling effect.

Yashinomi Premium Power

Yashinomi Premium Power is a kitchen detergent package made of a replaceable refill pouch and a stand. The pouch is placed directly in the stand, so the liquid does not need to be poured into a bottle. Refilling is therefore quick and clean. Spilt liquid is avoided, and no bottle has to be washed and dried before refilling. All the liquid in the pouch is used, so residue is not wasted. The graphics are simple and quiet in tone, so the package suits kitchen interiors. The package measures 120 by 55 by 167 millimetres.
