Bonita Pour Femme

Challenge was to create a feminine perfume product and packaging for the GCC and African markets. Conceptualized from the visual narratives of woman’s obsession and desire, representation for fashion, class, and luxury was translated into the concept for this product along with the name "Bonita". Designers took inspiration from the Hobo handbag as a metaphor to tell the story of a woman’s obsession and desire.

San Liang Jiang

The idea of this design is inspired by the culture of Sanxingdui and the shape of cultural relics. The design produces an excavation process of the artistic relics experience. The experience of consumers to open the packaging box seems like to explore a cultural relic. The design enhances an interaction effect between the consumer and the product. The colour of the packaging is mainly black which transfers a mystery and curiosity result.

Yan

The design of the bottle was inspired by nature and the principles of bio mimicry specifically the form of a bitten apple. This was meant in order to show the organic quality of the product inside. This anatomy results in complementary shapes which when placed next to one another on shelves or during transportation allow to maximise the saving of space. The name of the brand is inscribed on the label with a stylised calligraphy. This calligraphy evokes the colour and appearance of thin grass as a nod to Nature.

LIFEWTR Series 6: Diversity in Design

Focusing on Diversity in Design, LIFEWTR highlights how diverse perspectives can enhance our collective cultural experience through the work of Ji Won Choi, Jamall Osterholm, and Daniel Cloke. These emerging international artists use design as a medium to express diverse backgrounds, share original perspectives, and inspire positive change. Through a partnership with the Council of Fashion Designers of America, these young designers were able to show their collections during NY fashion week.

Awanama

Unrefined sake is not widely known abroad. Awanawa's mission is to provide genuine sake to people all over the world in a whole new style. The design aims to make this new brand a different genre than Japanese sake. In Japan, distribution in a new technology complex bottle, which has never been done before, can be used to reduce the weight of the product, to shield the light for quality retention, and to represent the fine texture that could not be expressed with conventional technologies. It was possible. With this design, designer wants people overseas to experience the fresh taste of sake.
