Hong Jiu

Hong Jiu is a gift package for baijiu, a strong Chinese liquor. The bottle takes the form of a traditional Chinese arched bridge and is made of high borosilicate crystal glass, selected for clarity and impact resistance. A gilded metal roof, formed by precision lost wax casting, and cloisonne cloud, crane and flower patterns decorate the top. When the lid is opened, the interior unfolds like a landscape painting behind the bottle. The tray also serves as a display stand, so the bottle can be kept as a desktop ornament.

Zao from Xinghua Village

Zao from Xinghua Village is a packaging design for Chinese liquor. The illustrated main pattern shows the process of growing wheat and turning it into liquor. The Chinese character for the series name is combined with European Gothic letterforms. Slender lines and decorative patterns link tradition with modern design. The label uses a silver pressed process with fine lines, and the box uses UV dark lines that can be felt by touch. The transparent bottle shows the clear color of the liquor. The design aims to present Chinese liquor to younger people and to people of different cultures.

Yanjing White Beer

Yanjing White Beer is a packaging design for bottled and canned beer. The graphics combine Chinese and German cultural references, with colors drawn from a German football uniform and images of malt and hops as a tribute to Germany, the origin of white beer. A shield shaped title panel highlights the product name and keeps the layout balanced. The can follows the size of an average palm for a secure hold, and the tapered bottle can be gripped at any height. The bottle is made of recyclable glass and the can of recyclable aluminum.
